Chrysalis Women’s Centre

Chrysalis Women’s Centre provides opportunities for women and children to develop the necessary skills, self esteem and confidence to participate more fully as individuals in family, community and society. We work with others both locally and regionally to create stronger inclusive communities through developing community infrastructure, working processes, networks, ethical frameworks and a shared vision for the future. We provide an education and training programme that runs throughout the year and is designed to support women to develop the skills knowledge and experience necessary to access further training and employment.

We provide the following:

• Food Support 
• Period Poverty Support
• Counselling Service – Available to both male and female, must be over 18, and this service is free of charge.
• The crèche is available in the mornings for children of mothers who are enrolled on a course. Children must be aged 0-3yrs
• Their 3-4yr old programme runs in the afternoon for children who didn’t get a nursery place.
