Davina’s Ark, Aftercare Addiction Services

Davina’s Ark is an organisation dedicated to the provision of a Non- Residential Aftercare Service for Individuals, Families and Young People impacted by Addiction, Mental Health and Associated Psychological Trauma.
Davina’s Ark provides a range of bespoke aftercare services and support for those who seek Recovery.
Our social ideology is based on community care, service users remain in their own home and community during their recovery programme.
Our Programme aims to break the cycle of Addiction, for the person in Addiction and their families.
To rediscover relationships in families lost in Addiction.
To change the way people, view Addiction.
To reduce the shame and stigma associated with Addiction.

We provide Education and Training to Communities, Public/Private/Voluntary Organisations/Businesses, Schools and Colleges.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Abstinence from Addiction.
  • Commitment, availability and willingness to attend the Programme.
  • Willing to undergo Initial Assessment and Ongoing Assessment.
  • Medication Compliant.

The Way Forward
Davina’s Arks Recovery and Self-development Programme incorporates life skills and creates change.
It maps the way forward for all our service users to explore other options through connecting and maintaining relationships and links within their family and communities.

  • Pretreatment Education Programme (12 weeks).
  • One to One Counselling (12 weeks).
  • Long – Term Recovery Education Programme.
  • Well – Being Check in Calls.

  • Standalone Workshops and 6 – 12 week Psychoeducation Programmes.
  • Understanding Relapse and Prevention.
  • Understanding Psychological Trauma, Mental Health and Addiction.
  • Dual Diagnosis.
  • Understanding the Impact on the Family.
  • Family Interventions.
  • Understanding Stress and Stress Management.
  • Understanding Anger and Anger Management.
  • Understanding Forgiveness and Spirituality.
  • Foetal Alcohol/Drug Syndrome Workshop.
  • Clinical Supervision.
