Respect Project

Respect Project

Established by local community volunteers in 2012 the Respect Project uses physical activity / sport based activities to engage young people and adults to help create a safer, stronger and more healthier community.
Rather than just focusing on participating in physical activity / sport based activities the Project provides opportunities for people to learn and develop through our educational programmes.
Examples of the programmes we deliver across our 3 main themes include:
Theme 1: Community Outreach

  • Community Kicks Programmes
  • Community Youth Champions League Programmes
  • Fun World Cup Programmes

Theme 2: Health & Well Being

  • Know the Score Youth Programmes
  • Girls Only Programmes
  • Ignite Your Health Women’s Programmes
  • Kick Start Your Health Men’s Programmes

Theme 3: Educational & Employment

  • Youth Peer Leadership Programmes
  • United through Sport Programmes
  • Local Sporting / Community Hero Programmes
